Sammy Ofer Stadium has hosted various international friendly and exhibition matches over the years, with leading production companies renting the Stadium for commercial football events. One such example is the “Match of Peace” held in 2019, a friendly match between former players of the Israel National Team and former players of the Brazil National Team. In such cases, the production and match format are determined entirely by the producing company.
In addition, in the summer of 2022, the Stadium hosted a high profile exhibition match between two European giants: Tottenham Hotspur from England and AS Roma from Italy, as part of a special and large scale production by MTR7.
